English Learning in Malaysia

Learn & Study English with ELS Language Centres Malaysia

ELS Language Centres, Malaysia, is a franchise of American-based ELS Language Centers, USA. It was introduced in Malaysia when the first ELS centre was opened in Petaling Jaya in 1990.

Since its inception 20 years ago, ELS Language Centres, Malaysia has the unique track-record of having trained more than 100,000 students from over 50 countries. ELS Language Centres has 6 schools in Malaysia and has the prestigious reputation of being the best English language centre offering programmes that cater for college and university-bound students as well as working adults.

ELS Malaysia was the first English language centre in the country that offered the Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP) in 1990. Today, CIEP is considered our flagship programme, helping college and university-bound students to improve their general English proficiency.

In addition, ELS Malaysia has reputable standing with the corporate clientele, servicing over 100 corporations.

ELS Malaysia is the only private English language centre in the country that has gained recognition from local universities. We have signed an MOU with Universiti Putra Malaysia—one of the largest public universities in Malaysia—to jointly organise MICELT—the largest ELT conference in the country. ELS Malaysia also participates in Puspanita and the Chinese Independent Schools board offering advice and programmes to the respective agencies in various parts of the country.

Through ELS Malaysia’s strong academic standard, more than 25 private colleges and universities in Malaysia, more than 600 colleges, universities and career schools in the USA, and a substantial number of universities and polytechnics in the UK, Australia and New Zealand recognise the ELS Proficiency recommendation in lieu of the TOEFL/IELTS or other standardised examination as satisfaction of their English Language admissions requirement.
