Mark your calendars to make good buys for your home redecoration, refurbishment and renovation at HOMEDEC 06, (6th Home Decoration Exhibition), this 21-24 September 2006 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia.

HOMEDEC has established itself as the most sought after marketplace for home décor, refurbishment and renovation needs and interior design consultations - it has it all and is the one stop centre for home products sourcing. The last HOMEDEC 05 in November recorded RM15 million transactions and attracted more 90,000 visitors.

First introduced in 2003 as an annual affair, its been now organised twice a year since 2005. This year HOMEDEC will be held in May at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre and September in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Among the exhibition highlights in May will be the HOMEDEC Contest, Lighting Gallery by Alfo Lighting. FREE seminars will be also held on Saturday and Sunday. Malaysia’s celebrity designer, Eric Leong, who has been speaking since the first HOMEDEC, this time will share tips on lighting, curtain and fabric. Other topics include feng shui tips, interior design tips, etc. For the first time, seminars will be conducted in Mandarin and on Saturday, while the English will be on Sunday.


Visitors can also meet interior designers for home interior and renovation tips at the Interior Design Clinics. Visitors are advised to bring along your house layout plan to get a comprehensive recommendation.


More than 350 booths and 130 companies will be showcased at HOMEDEC May. Most exhibitors are selling leading brand products at the best prices besides giving advice and tips on the application for the latest gadgets, designs, decors to make your house into an ideal home.
